Finnish forests are really atmospheric and stunning in all seasons. The reason I first became interested in Finland more than 10 years ago was because I read that the country is 70% covered in forest. Now that has changed my life completely – I’m now married to a Finn and planning to move there to enjoy even more of what the forests have to offer! 🙂

Nuuksio really is beautiful place to explore around (but so are most of the Finnish forests I think.) These photos are taken from forest right next to my family’s home near Tampere. We also live right next to forest. Thank you for commenting! 🙂

We lived in Olari, Espoo. The apartment we lived in was across the street from the forest and we would often venture in the forest to explore. We also spent a great deal of time going up to Nuuksio forest as well. What forest were your pictures taken in?
