People thinking of visiting Fushimi Inari should go earlier or on weekdays though, the tourist and local crowd together is suffocating.

Thanks and I hope this was at least a little useful for you then. You can definitely find cheap options from Kyoto so just try to not go for the most touristy things. But also you should visit some of the thing that seem expensive just because those can also be amazing experiences. 🙂
