Hah! For me visiting there was always associated with a sense of obligation, because we knew people there. So it’s interesting to see it from a tourist point of view.

Nowadays many people do trips to Gdansk because it is easy to fly to (at least from Scandinavia). It was really lovely city and Sopot was amazing. 🙂

Whenever I visited Poland, I’d stay in Gdynia and pop into Sopot. Went to Gdansk a few times, and I liked it, but even though I like bigger cities, I preferred Sopot and Gdynia. Haven’t been there in ages though. But nice to see it popping up in a blog. 😃

I’ve been to Poland (Lublin and Warsaw) reading your review makes me want to visit Gdansk. I’d love to see hyperlinks to some of the places you talk about in you post.
